This IFAK is the intermediate version of the original
Bleeding Control Station IFAK
and includes the vital components to
Stop the Bleed
, in alignment with the White House initiative. The intermediate kit goes beyond the basics and includes a chest seal (vented twin pack) to address penetrating chest wounds and a hypothermia blanket as a part of hypovolemic shock treatment.
This kit can be purchased as a replacement for used supplies, or as a stand-alone kit to keep you prepared on an individual scale. The intermediate option is also available as a
fully stocked public access cabinet
(a set of eight 8 IFAKs contained in a grab-and-go carrier, with an optional AED-style metal cabinet). It provides the public with supplies necessary to address massive bleeding when and where it is needed.
