This listing is for "The Tenner," A resin BJD Upgrade for the 10" Tonner Child Doll Body.
In 2014 three "Super Fans" of
Robert Tonner's 10" Ann Estelle Collection
of child dolls, based on the artwork of Mary Engelbreit, created a
fully jointed body
for the dolls whose faces they loved. This body was meant to replace the original vinyl one and provide the full range of movement that only a ball jointed doll
(BJD)
can have. This
Limited Edition of ONLY 64
bodies was a collaboration between these super doll collectors and doll artist Berdine Creedy. Particular attention was given to
matching the resin body color to the vinyl color
of existing doll heads.
This
headless body
is
fully strung
and ready for attaching to your favorite doll head. Upon request I will provide a link to a website which gives more information about this BJD body, including pictures and directions for attaching it to your dolly head.
This
resin BJD body
can also be used with some porcelain heads sculpted by Dianna Effner.
The BJD body is about 18 cm tall at the base of the neck and 20 cm tall at the top of the neck opening.
Where the neck meets the body the circumference is 7.4 cm or 7/8 - 15/16 inches.
The neck diameter is 7/8 - 15/16".
There is a very slight taper from the top of the neck to the bottom where it meets the body.
I purchased these BJD bodies from the creators and never used them. They have been stored in my guest room closet. A
