This is an antique
brown
and white postcard of Johore, Malaysia with an undivided back. It shows a beautiful view of the Throne Room with 2 carved golden thrones at the Istana. This postcard was published by the State of Johore in about 1899. So it is more than one HUNDRED years
OLD
. This postcard was sent to Germany in 1906. Both Johore stamps are still attached on its back. On top left corner are the embossed
blue
star and crescent.
This postcard is shown in the book MALAYA 500 Early Postcards by Cheah Jin Seng on page 150. However discolouring (due to album wear) it does not affect the picture (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good. This postcard should be in every Johore or
Malaysian
