    Description

    Leader of the Pod applique quilt pattern from Wildfire Designs Alaska designed by Dana Michelle. This wall hanging features a pod of Orca whales traveling along a coastline shoreline in search of food.
    Orca whales, also know as killer whales, are actually the largest member of the dolphin family and travel in groups called pods. Each Orca whale pod has it's own songs for communication and to distinguish one group from another. These ocean predators are highly intelligent and coordinated hunters.
    Kit includes laser pre-cut pre-fused applique pieces with Lite Steam-a-Seam 2 fusible web, a pattern and matching fabrics to the original pattern cover design for all appliques, background fabrics, borders and binding. Backing fabric is not included.  All kits are packaged by Wildfire Designs Alaska with all fabrics labeled and stored in a reusable vinyl bag, great for safekeeping your project.
    The pattern contains a layout guide, full size pattern pieces, and instructions.
